The Objective

The owners of this north Los Angeles home needed to find a way to make their bright, wide open living and dining room more cozy for entertaining. Since the space is a permanent home, the priority was finding high quality pieces that the couple would love for years to come.

Design Notes

Due to the heavy amount of natural light and high ceilings, our primary color used throughout the design was dark green, which grounded the space and made it more inviting. We selected dark wood furniture with Hollywood Regency detailing to create a sense of timelessness. The colorful artwork, patterned curtains, and bright accent pillows brought a whimsical element for fun gatherings. By using dark walnut and Calacatta Viola marble for the fireplace renovation, the space became sophisticated.
